Liberty Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with our client, in supporting them in the search for an Accounts Assistant, to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This position is based in Portsmouth and offers hybrid working after probation.
Reporting into a dedicated and knowledgeable Finance Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing accounting support in day-to-day tasks.
Some of your duties will include:
- Validating purchase ledger invoices and posting them onto the company system
- Coding purchase ledger transactions
- Investigate and resolve supplier queries with a human approach
- Handling supplier payments
- Posting and reconciling cashbook transactions
- Providing additional support to the wider accounts team as required
To be successful in the role, you will ideally have recent experience working in an accounts team, be comfortable working with numbers and sensitive information.
You will be IT literate and have a positive can-do attitude!
