The Liberty Recruitment Group is excited to be working in partnership with a leading Tech-enabled Analytics Consultancy, who are looking for a Finance Systems Accountant to join their growing Finance team based in their Winchester office.
They’re scaling globally and this role offers the opportunity to directly impact the success of key business transformation projects. You’ll be developing systems that can be managed and scaled as the firm grows. You’ll have the autonomy to make a difference in a high-profile role backed by a collaborative team and leadership who are committed to innovation. It’s a collaborative team, so you’ll also get involved in supporting the wider finance team with their roles if and when needed.
Your key focus will be:
- Maintaining and developing financial systems including reporting tools, databases and integrations
- Creating and maintaining SQL Objects to support reporting and data analysis needs
- Leading and contributing to firmwide systems projects including ERP, Proactive Management, Expenses and Finance related Automation
- Designing, building and documenting reports and other dashboards in PowerBI and Excel
- Acting as a liaison between the Finance team and other business functions for systems related initiatives
- Evaluating new tools and processes for continuous improvement
What they’re specifically looking for:
- Transact-SQL and SQL objects experience
- Great skills in Power BI, Power Apps and Excel
- Demonstrable experience in leading and delivering firmwide systems or transformational projects through collaboration with various teams
- Experience working within Finance / professional services firms with an understanding of capital cycle, WIP, time billing, credit control, receivables, payables balance sheet reporting and working with auditors
- CIMA / ACCA certified or part-qualified is highly desirable
