Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with our Client based on the Isle of Wight to help them find an HR Business Partner, on a fixed term basis until August 2025.
This role is full time with 3 days based in Newport, Isle of Wight and 2 days remote with occasional travel to the head office based in Southampton.
The main purpose of this role is to support the business in delivering a high-quality HR business partnering service. You will be responsible for actively contributing to the effective implementation of the people strategy, priorities and wider organisational objectives.
Some of your duties will include:
- Lead on all employment relations cases providing expert advice and guidance
- Provide and analyse agreed monthly people related MI contributing to SLA’s and KPI’s as required
- Undertake job evaluation and benchmarking
- Provide support to the business in the implementation of people policies and procedures, advising on key people processes (i.e. recruitment, onboarding, safer recruitment compliance, performance management, absence management, pay, wellbeing and employee relations)
- Identify employee trends and support the business in planning and developing strategies to address these.
The ideal candidate must be at least CIPD Level 5 qualified and come with education experience or an understanding of the various education specific terms and conditions.
You will have excellent stakeholder experience, be able to extract and analyse data and have a high level of IT and HR system competence. You will also have an excellent understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
As a person you will be a strong communicator, a self-starter, resilient and adaptable to change. You will also be friendly, collaborative and approachable.
Our client is offering a salary between £38,000 - £42,000 depending on experience with a generous pension scheme and allocated leave. A satisfactory DBS and a driving licence are also a requirement for this role.
