Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a modern, fast-growing organisation to recruit a standalone HR Manager during an exciting phase of expansion.
This is a rare opportunity to build and shape the HR function from the ground up, working closely with senior leadership in a collaborative, non-hierarchical environment.
The organisation has recently undergone significant investment and development, with new services launching and further growth planned—doubling headcount over the coming phase.
The Role
As HR Manager, you will take full ownership of the HR function, combining hands-on operational delivery with strategic influence.
With minimal systems currently in place, you will have the autonomy (and budget) to implement HR systems, improve processes, and introduce new initiatives that enhance both compliance and employee experience.
You will be a key advisor to senior leadership, supporting the business through growth while maintaining a strong, positive culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
- Lead on all Employee Relations matters
- Coach and empower managers to handle first-line HR issues
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems
- Lead recruitment activity to support significant business growth
- Introduce and improve HR systems (HRIS, ATS, onboarding)
- Drive engagement, retention, and wellbeing initiatives
- Ensure full compliance with UK employment law and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
- CIPD Level 5 (minimum)
- Strong UK employment law knowledge
- Confident handling complex employee relations cases
- Experience supporting recruitment and organisational growth
- Experience implementing HR systems and processes
- Ideally experience within a regulated environment
