Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a well-established organisation in the search for a Learning & Development Specialist to join their People team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development professional to design and deliver engaging learning solutions that support employee development, enhance organisational capability and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
Based in Portsmouth, paying circa £50,000. This is a full-time, office-based position offering the opportunity to make a real impact within a collaborative and forward-thinking business.
What you'll do:
- Design, develop and deliver engaging learning solutions across classroom, virtual and digital learning environments.
- Create high-quality learning content to support onboarding, compliance, technical skills and professional development.
- Partner with managers to identify learning needs and develop effective training programmes.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions and development programmes for employees across the business.
- Manage and administer the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring learning records, reporting and compliance remain up to date.
- Produce learning reports and analyse data to support business decisions and identify development opportunities.
- Coordinate apprenticeship programmes, early careers initiatives and work experience placements.
- Monitor emerging learning technologies and best practice to continually enhance learning delivery.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within a Learning & Development role
- Proven experience designing and delivering engaging learning solutions across multiple learning platforms
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
- Experience using e-learning tools such as Articulate 360, Rise or Storyline
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and digital learning technologies
- CIPD Level 5 qualification in Learning & Development, Human Resources or equivalent experience desirable
